The Walking Dead Boss: Lori Is Becoming Lady MacBeth
Mike Neill and Sarah Johnson Merely a month directly into its newcomer season and Alcatraz has elevated many mysteries. We have been taking apart them every week hoping determining the solutions. In conclusion: Bay Area detective Rebecca Madsen (Sarah Johnson) and Alcatraz expert Diego Soto (Jorge Garcia) were enlisted by federal agent Emerson Hauser (Mike Neill) to find several Alcatraz criminals and pads who inexplicably disappeared into nothing in 1963. Named the '63s, the males are coming back to provide day with missions to find secrets that apparently unlock a secret "downstairs" door in the prison where... well, we do not realize that yet, but we all do be aware of prison doctors had to have the prisoners' bloodstream, and Tommy Madsen (David Hoflin) was begrudgingly at the middle of it. Taking apart Alcatraz's Mysteries: Who're the '63s? TVGuide.com switched to executive producers Jennifer Manley and Serta Pyne to reply to a few of the questions we have been monitoring. For example: Who're the forces that be which are behind the '63s' disappearance? We might be meeting one of these soon! Will the key reason why Tommy Madsen is really important emerged soon? Serta Pyne: Yes. Everything's building towards that in midseason. That might be the question that's clarified within the last episode. Jennifer Manley: Several things are likely to get together getting related to the inmate's bloodstream, Tommy Madsen and what's behind the Warden's door. It is possible to particular reason Alcatraz prison grew to become the main focus reason for the disappearance? Manley: Yeah. You will find ideas our figures have. We'll discuss what individuals ideas are through the finish of year, however they might not be the actual ones. We'll know very well what Hauser considers it and what his think-tank considers it, but that is really only the tip from the iceberg. We might meet a personality through the finish of year who realize that specific answer, who most likely offers quite a bit more solutions than the figures we have met to date. Taking apart Alcatraz's Mysteries: The number of '63s will work with Hauser? Can we learn who the forces that be are and what their motives are this year? Or perhaps is that the series arc? Pyne: Well, it's a bit of both. I believe through the finish of [Episode] 13 we'll understand who that could be. Manley: This is the character that people were mentioning to. He may participate the forces that be. Pyne: But certainly through the finish of year you will see much more of a feeling of the overall game that's afoot. We will not be coy about this and holding back. You will see a much better feeling of what's happening. We might not know very well what the endgame is, but a minimum of the gamers will end up a bit clearer. Manley: It's complicated because they do not all have a similar goals, which we are likely to stumble on prior to the finish of year. There's almost a secret war happening between your '63s, too. That interplays using what their associations were previously once they were jailed or focusing on Alcatraz. It is possible to reason a few of the '63s go against mission? Pyne: Yes. Manley: We will not say definitively, but we'll give people the various tools to possess pretty informed ideas about this. What's using the passion for the amount three - three secrets, three bank robberies and 72 hours of sniper shootings a few of the couple of? Pyne: There might be several number clue. Manley: Forty-seven is a vital number, too. But we love to three because of its stability and the concept that it is a triangular. We discuss triangles a great deal and associations which have three angles inside them. Taking apart Alcatraz's Mysteries: Who's Lucy, really? Lucy had pointed out previously that they would fix the criminals with memory-changing experiments. Did she finish up as being a puzzle piece within the overall mystery of methods the '63s disappeared? Pyne: She certainly is really a puzzle piece, yes. We might not stick to this forever, but at this time, everything that's happened previously has happened chronologically in 1960. So, there's still 3 years left prior to the jump. Clearly, allegiances change. Stuff occur in individuals 3 years between your time when Lucy involves prison to begin her experiments and 1963 when she clearly disappeared together with everyone else. Certainly, she's some solutions as to the may have gone on, but she may also not really understand. She did not understand at that time what happening. It might be at the moment searching back in internet marketing that they can begin to solve what she saw. Manley: Yeah, enhancing the team solve by understanding the psychology from the inmates. However the Warden (Jonny Coyne) is extremely Machiavellian. He doesn't want the left hands to be aware what the best hands does. So, he might utilize different gamers for his or her different challenges. But a part of his M.O. isn't to allow anyone person know an excessive amount of what's going on. Diego pointed out within the pilot the Warden passed away a long time ago. Did he really or perhaps is he area of the missing '63s? Pyne: It is possible. Can we uncover how Lucy found use Hauser later on and find out much more of their relationship previously? Manley: Yes. Certainly, 100 %. Pyne: Their love story is among the great triangles of Alcatraz. Manley: It's type of the love triangular between Hauser, Lucy, and also the jump itself. Taking apart Alcatraz's Mysteries: Exactly why is Tommy Madsen essential? Can we discover what Dr. Beauregard (Leon Rippy) was doing nowadays at Alcatraz? Pyne: You might discover soon, within the next couple episodes. Then when you discover, you might be totally wrong, but you will notice a number of what he's as much as. He's a bit jealous of Lucy's elevation towards the prize dog on Alcatraz, so he will get as much as some hijinks he maybe should not. What else could you inform us concerning the downstairs door that should be opened up with three secrets? Manley: That we are likely to open it up prior to the finish of year. We'll understand through the finish of year what's behind that door, a minumum of one layer from it. It had been extremely important towards the Warden. There might simply be one individual he shares that secret with. We learned Diego was kidnapped at 11. Will that return into play? Manley: That's his deep, deep back story and lots of what motivated his passion for Alcatraz with comics. We will not always visit prior to the finish of year, but that's a part of who he's like a character and why he grew to become thing about this team. Taking apart Alcatraz's Mysteries: Hauser and Lucy's past revealed Once Rebecca does finally come face-to-face with Tommy, will she have the ability to let bygones be bygones and realize that he's still her family? Pyne: Gosh. Manley: We all know the response to that, however i don't believe we let you know. What else could you inform us by what is available on her? Pyne: She starts to obtain a bit more centered on fixing the mystery of the items happened to her partner and diving into on that day and why he was there. It gradually leads her with a facts about her partner concerning the bigger mystery of Alcatraz as well as about Tommy Madsen. Manley: And what everyone does here current day. They uncover that you will find different factions of '63s within current day Bay Area and beyond. Alcatraz airs Mondays at 9/8c on Fox.

Last Exorcism Sequel Has A Director
Ed Gass-Donnelly gets the gigThe only downside to making $70m at the box office from a budget of $1.5m and having that success spawn a sequel, is that it's slightly embarrassing if that original film had the word "last" in the title. Not that that's deterring the production team behind The Last Exorcism from moving forward with a follow-up in the slightest. It was announced last autumn that the film was being written by Damien Chazelle, and it now has a director, in Ed Gass-Donnelly.The Empire Award-winning The Last Exorcism was a sleeper hit in 2010, presented as a documentary about well-meaning but charlatan exorcist Cotton Marcus (Patrick Fabian) stumbling upon what seems to be a genuine posession. Things didn't go so well for Cotton after that.Plot-wise, not much is being revealed about the sequel yet, but we do know that it takes place three months after the first film (so hasn't taken the prequel route that some might have predicted) and involves the further tribulations of the demon-ised Nell Sweetzer (Ashley Bell). The company line is also that it'll be on a much larger scale than previously, which might indicate that the found-footage schtick is being dropped this time around.Gass-Donnelly (who made the 2010 crime thriller Small Town Murder Songs, with Peter Stormare) replaces original director Daniel Stamm, who's had his hands full recently with Night Chronicle Reincarnate, and possible English-language remakes of 13: Beloved and Martyrs.Still aboard The Last Exorcism train however, is original producer Eli Roth, who told Deadline that he's "very, very excited to continue this story.""Obviously with the title of the first one we had not planned on a sequel", Roth laughs, "but we love the story and subject matter and had what we feel is an inspired idea to continue it. We want to go deeper and darker this time. The first film worked great as a PG-13 psychological film, but now we want to go R-rated and show the true horrorof what this subject matter offers. The biggest creative challenge will be coming up with the right title!"The Exorcism After The Last One: Not Nearly So Final As We May Have Led You To Believe, starts shooting next month in New Orleans.

Glam Slam: Whats Hot For 2012
First Published: January 20, 2012 1:43 PM EST Credit: Getty Images LOS ANGELES, Calif. -- Caption Eva Mendes poses onstage during the 2011 Film Independent Spirit Award nominations press conference at The London West Hollywood on November 30, 2010 I went shopping for the first time yesterday since before the holidays and boy have the stores made a Technicolor transformation! Color, color, color was everywhere- there was no escaping it! What else will be big? People StyleWatch gives us the style scoop! Prints are hot this season, says Kate Dimmock, fashion director of the magazine. Two of the hottest prints right now are florals and polka dots. With florals, the trend here is the bolder the print, the better. Go for vibrant colors, then add neutrals for accessories to balance it out. Polka dots are a great way to update a classic look and make it new. A polka dot top or dress can be chic, or for some fun, mix up the sizes and colors to create contrast. Color is popping up everywhere, and its the perfect way to welcome in a new spring season, says Dimmock. Some hot color trends: Mint green is the it pastel color of the season and its huge. Were seeing it on trousers and dresses and in even accessories. Red lips are universally flattering. Angelina Jolie had gorgeous red lips at the Golden Globe Awards and it really pulled together her whole look. Blue-green jewelry, these ocean inspired colors are great for accessories. Were seeing this color combo on chunky necklaces and bold rings. Metallic heels are great for day and night. They can amp up any spring outfit, and they go with everything---from jeans to dresses! Lionsgate may be upgraded by S&P
'The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part 1'Standard & Poors is considering an upgrade of Lionsgate's corporate credit rating, saying the purchase of Summit could put the studio on a sounder financial footing. The big ratings agency placed its "B-" corporate credit rating on what's called "CreditWatch with positive implications" and predicted the deal could end up reducing Lionsgate's debt "meaningfully." Wall Streeters expect Summit's "Twilight" franchise to inject half a billion dollars of fresh cash into Lionsgate over the next five years. The new listing reflects the possibility of an upgrade, which, S&P said, will depend on the combined company's new cash position, strategy and "acquisition orientation." The agency estimated Lionsgate's pro forma debt at roughly $1.1 billion -- or $1.5 billion including film financing obligations -- as of Sept. 30, 2011.It also said the acquisition modestly improves Lionsgate's business risk profile on account of increased leverage over exhibitors, and creative capabilities. The $412 million deal, a combination of cash, stock and bonds sale, was announced Friday. Lionsgate shares bounced higher late in the trading day Wednesday, closing up 2.24% at $9.14, a new 52-week high.Corporate credit ratings determine how much risk an investor is taking on. The idea is that the lower the rating the more likely a company is to default so it has to pay higher interest rates in order to attract investors. Contact the Variety newsroom at news@variety.com
